Traditional Diving Program

Three Easy Steps:

Classroom Sessions

Classroom sessions consist of a comprehensive lecture series required to complete your training. Scuba Network® offers an atmosphere of fun and knowledge, which makes your required attendance easy. A DVD is required to supplement those sessions.

Pool Sessions

Experience the excitement as you learn to breathe underwater in a controlled setting, before going into the ocean.

Open Water Dives

Four open water dives and a snorkeling dive, with an instructor, are required to complete your certification process.

TWO Simple Requirements:

Good Physical Condition

You must be in good health, with no history of heart condition, epilepsy, diabetes, ear disorders, asthma, or respiratory conditions. You must also be at least 10 to 12 years of age depending on the course.

Basic Swimming Skills

You need ONE last thing before you start:

Mask, Snorkel, and Fins

We recommend that you purchase these with Scuba Network®’s friendly, informative sales staff. All of these items are available at discount prices, and come with an in-water guarantee during your pool course. They must be suitable for dividing and fitted by a professional for your utmost comfort and ease of learning.

DVD Book Kit or Online Kit (depending on your Dive Program)

The Book Kit consists of the NAUI Scuba Diver textbook, workbook, NAUI Recreational Dive Table, NAUI Training Log Book, and DVD.
